But I digress.) This "genesis" I refer to is the start of the Tavern Church...
It's a Church. It's in downtown Dallas. It's in a bar (the City Tavern on Main Street.) You can have a beer while hearing the Word. The music will be incredible (literally, guys from some of the coolest bands in north Texas- that just-so-happen to be believers.) Our teacher is hip and fresh. He has a PhD from a Big 12 school w/a sucky football team- but you'd never know it. You won't be preached at, you'll be spoken to. Questions will be answered. The services will be the last Sunday of each month at 7:30pm. The first one is Sunday, January 31. It's VERY casual. We won't judge you- we just hope you join us as we present and participate in the Good News.
